Jim Effner Jr., Managing Partner Jim Effner serves as the Managing Partner for one of the largest Northwestern Mutual offices in the country. After graduating from Valparaiso with a degree in finance and economics in 1989, Jim joined Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. He advanced quickly and established exemplary credentials in all facets of the industry, including sales, management and training. In his first year with the Network, Jim qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table, which honors Financial Representatives who have achieved outstanding sales records. Jim was appointed Managing Director in 1999 and Managing Partner in 2001. Jim Effner – Professional Accomplishments In recognition of his expertise as a Managing Partner, Jim was awarded the GAMA International 2004 Master Agency/Firm Award. He was also recognized by The Business Ledger as one of "Today’s Young Executives" in 2004. Jim is also an active member of the Downers Grove Chamber of Commerce. Jim Effner resides in Aurora with his wife, Lynn, and three children, Brittany, Brianna and Bryce. This Network Office has been active since 1905.
